Overall Satisfaction with Constant Contact
We are using constant contact to manage and deliver our email campaigns. We are also using it to provide surveys to our sales force. It is being used exclusively by the marketing department.
- Schedules formatted email campaigns.
- Organizes tagged contact lists.
- Provides basic campaign analytics.
- Could use more flexibility in building templates.
- There is no place to house templates once created.
- Scheduling and monitoring multiple campaigns at once is troublesome.
- Constant Contact has allowed us to properly track the success rates of our email campaigns to better improve our connections with the sales force and customers.
- It has increased the volume of emails we are able to produce.
- It has allowed us better targeting of our messages.
Constant Contact is easier but less robust than either MailChimp or Campaign Monitor. It was chosen by a previous employee at our company and was maintained due to ease of use.
Constant Contact Feature Ratings
Evaluating Constant Contact and Competitors
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
- Prior Experience with the Product
- Existing Relationship with the Vendor
Product usability was the main driving factor as there were inexperienced users that would be working on the campaigns.
I would send out the same test campaign across all competitors and qualify the end results that way.
