Overall Satisfaction with Constant Contact

Our bank uses Constant Contact to communicate with over 180k customers. We needed a software that integrated into our CRM so that we could design custom email journeys for each individual customer and Constant Contact allows us to do just that. The most powerful way we're able to utilize the software is through our monthly email newsletters. We have a newsletter for Business customers and Consumer customers. We love everything about Constant Contact and highly recommend it.

  • Constant Contact is great for customer journeys.
  • Constant Contact has excellent integration capabilities.
  • Limited customization in designing an email.
  • Limited drip campaign options without a third party integration.
  • Lack of ability to edit customer data on a mass scale.
  • Our 45% open rate lets us communicate to our customers with confidence.
  • Constant Contact has increased our customer engagement sevenfold.
  • In our last marketing push for savings accounts opens we saw an 18% growth rate YOY in account openings since starting newsletters last year that push savings account openings.
Mailchimp is pretty comparable in a lot of ways to Constant Contact, but Constant Contact just continues to win when it comes to deliver-ability and user-interface. It's clean, simple, and intuitive.
There are other platforms like ActiveCampaign and Klaviyo that have some better features for eCommerce than Constant Contact, but for our needs in the finance industry, Constant Contact knocks it out of the park.

Constant Contact would be great for a business of any scale. It is well-suited to handle newsletters, drip campaigns, and one-off campaigns. Where it might be less appropriate is for ongoing "live" responses for various e-commerce businesses. There are other platforms that are better suited for the e-commerce world than Constant Contact.
