Overall Satisfaction with DemandScience Activate (formerly PureB2B)

Demand Generation with the syndication of thought leadership content.
  • List management.
  • Responsive to client requests.
  • Audience profile targeting.
  • Management and attention to detail - several items slip through the cracks.
  • Coordination between account management and invoicing has been sloppy.
  • Better intent data to match profiles.
  • Connecting the download to the actual sponsor - often heard, "We never downloaded XYZ."
  • Audience & ability to target and build community.
  • Variety of offerings.
  • Syndication Alternative to working with a media publications.
  • ROI was very low - ZERO conversion of leads into active engagements, which means the sales team saw this as a "waste" of time.
  • Achieved the contracted number of leads that fit our profile and were "accepted".
  • Became more of a list build process than an actual lead generation initiative. While this is important, we needed actually qualified opportunities (at least a few). Had we gotten them, we would have made another investment.

The other investments have resulted in qualified leads, PureB2B did not.

Lot's of opportunities to improve the quality of leads and the account management process. While the people were professional, they seemed overwhelmed or overworked, as if they were juggling too many things. The intent data was not very strong especially compared to what's available from resources like ZoomInfo and others.
