Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

It solved the scheduling of employees issue we were having. We used it across the organization. It helped us with scheduling people across different departments which helped us with not accidently double scheduling people who were in different departments.

  • The customer service is great! They always were so willing to help out and have endless patience.
  • They always had great seminars that helped me learn more about their product.
  • I had a hard time applying personal time off to employees and having that amount of time being applied against the employee's personal time off balance.
  • I wish it would allow for client time tracking. How long an employee is working on a particular client or project.
  • Make it easier to enter in sales so you can get an accurate labor vs sales report.
  • Time saved on tracking hours.

Deputy is a very user friendly interface software compared to QuickBooks Time. It is also provides a great way for teams to communicate with each other. The news feed was really nice as well to provide the employees with up to date information about the company. It was also nice for the software to give reminders on employees birthdays and anniversary dates. It makes it so you and the employees have a more personal professional relationship.

The software was easy to use. It was great for the whole team to grow closer as we were able to communicate through Deputy. If you need a good general employee scheduling software then this is the software for you. The customer service was beyond amazing and they always work on improving the product.
If you need to keep track of employees that work on a particular client or project then this isn't the right software for you. However, there are tasks you can assign to your employees and the software will let you know when they have completed it. They do need to work on making sure when you putting an employee's personal time in that they take it out of that employee's personal time off balance.
If your company has multiple departments then this is a great product to get. However, if you need to keep track of how long an employee spends on a particular client then this isn't the software to use.
