Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We use deputy to manage our casual staff pool rostering and timesheets, including COVID declaration. We are unable to import the timesheets directly into MYOB as we use job costing to allocate people's time to different shows/clients{;} so one timesheet might have up to 5 splits of people's time. It is great to have a subscription that houses all casual staff [so] we're only charged for the staff rostered during that week.
  • Notifications for Staff
  • Rostering
  • Timesheets
  • Allocation of someones time to a specific client code
  • Payroll accuracy
  • Ensuring Award Conditions are adhered to
  • Staff notified very well, no miscommunication about starting time like with other systems we have used.
[It] doesn't compare. Deputy is clear and thorough. [In my opinion] Zen Planner was messy.

Do you think Deputy delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Deputy's feature set?

Yes

Did Deputy live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Deputy go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Deputy again?

Yes

[Deputy] can copy rosters from any [specific] week. [It's] easy to add people back and see if staff have activated their account.
We had self-implementation, but it was easy enough.
I have recommended Deputy to many colleagues. The application is great for staff to use [so they can ] see who they're working with and for managers to manage breaks etc... [Since] being a user in Australia there tends to be upgrades on Mondays (Sunday night in the Northern Hemisphere) and this can mean payroll on Monday is a bit glitchy.
