Overall Satisfaction with Diligent Boards

I use Diligent Boards to load materials, to prepare board books and review materials, create pdf's from the materials. My main issue is that board members do not get a nice list of materials, but everything is in one lump of documents and they sometimes complain that it is hard to find reports, etc. I would like to be able to set books, material in a list by business unit and type of the material, maybe date and even importance.

Pros

  • Easy to create book with subtitles and links
  • Easy to create pdf from the material
  • If I have issues I always get help from the support
  • I like that I am offered training if I need to update my knowledge

Cons

  • I am using one click, it would be nice to see what board members see
  • I mentioned before I would like to be able to sort documents by various parameters like importance, date, type
  • Talking to other assistance i find that everyone knows something different about quicker ways to load, maybe a weekly/monthly tip would be beneficial.

  • saving money on printing, people are using books comfortably
  • We had issue and downtime with another software in the past, luckily not with Diligent
In the past and especially when I just started using Diligent Boardbooks i had a lot of questions and I always able to get help pretty much immediately when i needed, from access issues to loading issues and more general help when requested. My fellow admins are always complimentary of the support they get.
Until we had a major issue with another software I did not even realize that it could be so damaging if the security would be compromised. I really appreciate having for our company and board this great piece of mind that Diligent Board books are very secure and safe to use.
I have not used any other products.

I would definitely would recommend diligent to other companies and my colleagues to use for board material loading, as despite few small issues otherwise it is a great tools and most importantly board members use it and find it more or less easy. If they have any suggestions i can always accommodate, what it is also great is the support team behind the tool.
