Overall Satisfaction with DocuSign
DocuSign is being utilized to have forms filled out remotely by external customers. This is being used more and more for loan forms, and maybe some day we can get it to a point where a person doesn't physically need to be present to sign for a loan. However there are currently some outside limitations that prevent us from doing so. The business problem this addresses is requiring customers to sign something. Previously customers had to go somewhere physically like a branch, which took time out of everyone's day. Now the process can proceed more quickly by having them sign something on their home computer.

We focused a lot on possibly doing this through OnBase natively. However there are a lot of things to consider such as security of the documents getting to and from the customer. DocuSign is able to act as a middle man, so that all you have to worry about is getting the document/form there, and they worry about the rest. DocuSign also worries about updates and performing maintenance, rather than you having to worry about if your OnBase server is working right or not.
