Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We work with large data files and reports and Dropbox allows us to save, share, and archive these files. We also create large graphic files that are too large to send via email. Dropbox allows us to share these large files.
- Provides storage for large file sizes to save space on local hard drive
- Enables easy sharing of files
- Provides a good place to archive files
- Provides a good place to backup copies of important files
- Dropbox meets the needs of what we use it for
- The downside is that it is an additional subscription cost
- A positive impact is easy sharing and archiving of files - regardless of file size
- A positive impact is the ability to archive and backup files so there is a historical record - even when there are staffing changes, documents can remain accessible in a centralized place
Most people are only familiar with Apple iCloud if they are Apple/Mac users. iCloud is also a little harder to set up access security on specific documents.
