Overall Satisfaction with Dynamic Yield

We are using Dynamic Yield in order to manage all our A/B testing activity in our company. It has a great feature to perform multi variants tests. In addition we use Dynamic Yield's recommendation engine feature. The platform is being used by several departments and it is very user-friendly and easy to use.
  • The Dynamic Yield platform allows us to create templates to assist end users, which are not developers, to change content in the code. For example, to change an image file on an existing code.
  • The platform allows you to create targeted strategies for the recommendation engine feature using filtering rules. There is a cool live view of the products feed which assist in creating the strategy.
  • The platform allows you to preview the experiment on the site even before going live which is amazing for QA.
  • If you have more than 1 account in dynamic Yield, there is no easy feature which allows you to duplicate experiments from one account to another (besides dynamic content).
  • The reports of the recommendation engine are not good enough. There is no easy way to measure this feature's impact.
  • There is no waterfull functionality between different multi touch features.
  • It allows me to test several features in order to make sure that it won't harm a sites performance.
  • The platform allows me to optimize features and content on a site.
  • The platform allows me to scale up a personalized experience to our users through the template's capability.
I have used VWO before Dynamic Yield. VWO was our testing platform and we had a lot of trouble with it. It was not an "end user" oriented platform and wasn't easy to manage. The advantage of Dynamic Yield over VWO is having all the features in one platform (pop-ups, recommendation engine, testing, personalization and more).
Overall they are responsive and easy to contect with. There is always live chat option and a phone number for support. All of the agents are nice and willing to assist. There is a place for improvement in the agents' skills. Sometimes I ask a question which the agent doesn't know the answer by heart.

Dynamic Yield is a great platform which enables us to manage all A/B testing activity, personalization activity, recommendation engine activity and more in one place. One platform to rule them all. The power of Dynamic Yield is having all these capabilities in one place. It is very "end-user" oriented and easy to manage. The main issues which should be improved are the reports and ROI measurement of this tool.
