Exclaimer Cloud - Signatures for Office 365

Overall Satisfaction with Exclaimer

We currently use Exclaimer Cloud to populate our signatures on delivery. We are now able to leverage our AD fields to create a professional signature that is standard across our organization. We leverage different templates for different signatures for departments that have more customer service needs. This allows for personalized signatures to our external clients.
  • Customization of templates
  • Ability to utilize User object properties
  • testing template so you can see what signature will be applied
  • Wish the transport rule didn't double the delivery in message trace
  • online toolset to troubleshoot within the portal
  • longer than monthly billing
  • More professional signature for all recipients
  • ability to control the content of the signature from being altered by end users
  • standard format and branding
The integration into O365 is seemless. Since we use Azure AD Connect syncing our on-prem AD user object attributes, the Azure user objects also get these properties. We use these properties to build the signature. In some cases, we have a department using a different template that access the Manager and the manager's contact information, phone number and email address, in case the client needs to escalate directly to them. O365 sync runs quickly even when you have to manually update.
The ability to use different templates has allowed us to customize each department with their own signature template. Thus allowing customer service to provide a manager phone and email, but accounting to remove the phone number, as they do not want phone calls. This provides great flexibility to each department to customize the signature.
Prior to this solution, we managed them using an in house signature script. This was very clunky and not easily managed for the data. Users has the ability to alter, and add to their signature without approval, leading to a non standard representation of our company.

Do you think Exclaimer delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Exclaimer's feature set?

Yes

Did Exclaimer live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Exclaimer go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Exclaimer again?

Yes

By utilizing the AD attributes, and in conjuction with Azure AD Connect, we are able to leverage these properties to manage from on-prem AD. This makes the administrative overhead easy to manage. Having a single pane of glass to manage the content that the signature templates use, makes sure that you know the source of the data populating the signature.

Using Exclaimer

450 - These users cover sales, customer service, IT, Finance, executive team, marketing. All Users are covered with Exclaimer if they have a signature. This has allowed us to standardize and control signatures that are visible both internally and externally. The control is greatly reducing the incidents with broken signatures or missing links or pictures. There is also the ability to use the templates for separate signatures depending on logic from AD.
4 - There Sr Systems Administrator, the SysAdmin, and 2 helpdesk Tier II staff are managing Exclaimer in our environment. This allows redundancy and quick resolution to any issues that may come up. These users have a higher skillset in regards to Exchange Online, Active Directory and security groups. These are required to understand how exclaimer works, how to troubleshoot and test in the Exclaimer Admin portal.
  • Standardization of external signatures
  • Control of signature content
  • Company Branding
  • Utilizing the templates in Exclaimer to provide flexibility to different departments
  • Being able to test new ideas and signatures with new templates
  • testing option for troubleshooting
  • During any growth, the ability to provide a focused signature for new division
  • QWick way to change signatures if there is a change to link or promotion
This has been a great signature solution for my company. The ability to provide a standard signature across the company has assisted in re-branding the company, and control what is shown from Active Directory. We also use the test function to help troubleshoot any issues that come up and this leads to a quick resolution time for the end users.

Evaluating Exclaimer and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
This application was an additional cost so we focused on how much per user and if it was going to provide a benefit. After the demo, we were able to secure funding and get this put in place. The flexibility, standardization and control all have provided value to the organization.
I can't think of anything that would change. The initial demo, evaluation and then implementation were really smooth due to the way Exclaimer works against Active Directory. We didn't need to evaluate any other vendors since this product met our requirements. So, in summary, we have been happy with the product and no changes to the process.

Exclaimer Support

We have had to engage support a few times, and although they are always quick to communicate, the 1st level technicians don't always provide the solution. Usually we have to climb the support ladder to get to a resolution. This is more of a time consuming factor, and not one I consider to be high on the scale when rating a product or solution.
