Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong to share calls with our managers to talk through challenges and learn from success, and it has become a sort of a stop-gap that prevents deals from falling through the cracks. The problem that is solved is not having an accurate account of calls. Gong is used on all our calls and is helpful to review the next steps as well as talking points that can be iterated.
  • Integrates into Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Provides a transcript and video/audio of each call.
  • Pulls out next steps and suggests actions via email.
  • Organizes deals in a great dashboard.
  • The calls are recorded seemingly by magic so being able to record manually would be helpful.
  • Since I know the call is recorded I'm less worried about writing every detail and I am able to be more present during the call. This saves time in transcribing notes.
Gong is easy to use in finding, listening, and sharing calls. Across all use cases: salesperson to manager it seems intuitive. has provided you with accurate and actionable insights. I was pleasantly surprised to have the reminder in my inbox to follow up with a customer on an order form that we briefly talked about.
I haven't tried any other products like Gong. I googled gong and Salesken is the first one that showed up.

Salesforce CMS, Salesloft, Navisite Productivity and Collaboration (Microsoft Office 365 and MDM)
I was surprised by how much I like Gong. It is well suited for all sales scenarios but I think the ability to track the next steps, and have videos to reference later make it a tool that can be used internally as well. In 10 years of sales, this has been the most helpful in making the connection between how I want to sound and how I actually come across. Listening more, open-ended questions, and purposeful pauses have all improved by listening to calls. To change anything you have to first acknowledge, second accept the situation, and then you can take action and Gong empowers all three!
