Overall Satisfaction with GoToMeeting

We use GoToMeeting across our organization. Since we have people all across the world, we use it for team meetings. We also use it for all our company meetings. Our sales teams use it for quick meetings with clients. Our technical support team uses it to remote into the client system to troubleshoot. It's really good for the synergy of our different teams. Being able to not only talk but to see each other make it look like we all work in the same office even if we don't.
  • Quick meetings on the spot. The meet now features work really well for an unexpected meeting.
  • The HD video conferencing is really great. It helps a lot with the synergy of our teams. This removes the distance between our remote users.
  • Works well with our diverse computer ecosystem.
  • The integration with 3rd parties is great. We use the Outlook plugin on both Mac and PC and it helps us organize meetings quickly.
  • The mobile version is only somewhat stable. Meetings are easier to manage on the computer.
  • Support is not great. We had connectivity issues in the past and support were not able to help to determine what exactly the issue was.
  • The record feature does not include the webcam. Only audio and presentation.
  • The chat feature is quite limited. A separate chat room outside of meetings would be great.
  • It helps us with the productivity of teams that are not all in the same office.
  • Help us reduce travel expenses to see clients and team members.
  • For the quality of the service, it's quite cheap.
We tried all the main collaboration software and decided that GoToMeeting is by far the best. It has a lot of good features, it's easy to use, is compatible with all of our operating systems, and the video quality is crisp and without delays.
We are a French Canadian company and GotoMeeting advertises French phone support. It only works during Frances working hours, which are 6 hours before us. When we need quick support, we only can converse in English.


We had connections/audio issues a while back. GTM only keep their logs 24 hours which makes it impossible to coordinate and troubleshoot with our ISP.
GoToMeeting answers most of our needs, and the only thing a competitor could really do better would be customer support.
We use it for all of our company meetings. We stream the meeting from our head office and the remote user can connect to it. They can participate like they are in the room.


Our support team uses it to help troubleshoot clients systems. With the meeting now features its quick to set up a meeting.



Our sales team uses it to contact prospective and future clients. It also helps with travel expenses.
