Overall Satisfaction with Groove

Groove is being used at our commercial bank. We are heavy users of Salesforce and Groove was implemented to help link email contacts with Salesforce among other things. The email tools are extremely helpful to assist with follow up, delayed emails, templates and scheduling meetings. Additionally, there are analytic tools to help understand how your emails are being engaged by prospects. One thing that can be a challenge is navigating certain tasks. For example, when reviewing the 'accounts' tab it is not obvious how to add/remove names from this list. Same with the people tab. There are tutorial videos which I am working through to try and address these questions.

Pros

  • Integration with Salesforce and Gmail.
  • Tools embedded in email, easy to access.
  • Tools are functional and relevant to a sales role.

Cons

  • People and Accounts tabs could be more intuitive to edit.
  • When receiving an email reminder it would be nice not to have the Groove banner in the email.
  • When using the enterprise version it is unclear what features I have or don't have access to.
  • Keeps service level elevated by keeping follow up consistent.
  • Increased sales conversations due to timely/regular contacts.
I have had contact with several Groove employees and found them to be knowledgeable or able to direct me to the training and/or solutions to my questions. More importantly they are friendly and willing to help in any way they are able. This is evidence to me that there is a culture of service at Groove.

My role is business development and this tool is helpful in this realm. For example, I regularly delegate administrative tasks out to my team so that I can stay focused on my primary duties. However, I am ultimately responsible so I use the email reminder to prompt me to follow up with my staff to ensure tasks are being completed. I also use it to follow up with customers for my monthly/quarterly and annual touches.

Overall Groove provides what I need which is assistance with managing tasks and follow up, integrating with Salesforce and Gmail and tracking email traffic patterns. There are some tasks that seem unclear or undefined that may be a learning curve issue on my part. I will review the Groove website for further help.
