Overall Satisfaction with IBM Robotic Process Automation

We are working with dealers (# is more than two thousand) and all the purchasing that comes from them adds up to at least a million to a year. When we start to work with IIBM Robotic Process Automation, we have defined first basic movements and then advanced movements to act in certain situations. Right now, it eases the manual work a lot.
  • Invoice Filtering
  • Purchase Order (PO) creation
  • Sales Inventory Checks
  • Local language support (Turkish, Hindi, Malay characters)
  • Semantic analysis
  • Local Currency Support
  • 23% decrease in man hours
  • 11% decrease in duplicate orders
  • 5% decrease in missing inventory items
Because we are using enterprise chat platforms thats why it's almost impossible to connect with Skype Enterprise and/or Microsoft Teams to IBM Robotic Process Automation, it requires a lot of due diligence from corporate side to integrate IBM RPA, we currently do not have it. I suppose we won't be having it any time soon.
If you're getting a million white goods orders per year and if all of them gets through a single department, the time needed is massive. For out best estimates, IBM Robotic Process Automation started to decrease the time alotted 5% at the end of first month, it was almost 10% after the first quarter, right now we are estimating almost 15% decrease in time spent when we reach a year.
The decision generally and most obviously falls behind the PO deparment however I did use IBM Watson before that's why I have likened the IBM products and also when we alongside with the procurement department compare it to UiPath, IBM sounded more enterprise friendly and the decision went through to IBM Robotic Process Automation.

Did IBM Robotic Process Automation live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of IBM Robotic Process Automation go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy IBM Robotic Process Automation again?

Yes

If your company works with global standards as well as regionally accepted standards, IBM Robotic Process Automation probably works very well with detailed settings. However, if you are dealing with local semantics as well as niche methodologies creating an automation processes would have been difficult than it normally is. That's why I would recommend to be careful before trying to implement it.
