Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
It is used company-wide to share contacts. We also use it to keep track of projects we're currently working on.
- When contacts are linked to emails and files, it's easy to look these up.
- When the Insightly app is used in Chrome, it makes it easy to keep track of contacts and emails without leaving Gmail.
- It's easy to tag contacts and projects to create quick lists.
- The merge function has been pretty bad for quite some time. Emails and other contact information can be lost forever.
- The recent updates they've made make it harder to search.
- Smartmerge has to be done one contact at a time.
- Ultimately, it's a very expensive system for us - we merely need something that will allow us to share emails and keep track of lists. We have a set number of people we sell to and Insightly is built for a mass-email-sales company.
- Customer care is not very good. Like so many Internet companies, there's no phone support.
- The new layout is harder to read. We wish they'd give us an opportunity to customize the way the page looks. Over the search box, the letters CRM appear - making it hard to read what we're typing.
Insightly is built for a very specific kind of company. While we're frustrated with it, we haven't yet found something better.
