Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

Insightly is integral to my job function on a day to day basis. In the solar industry, installation projects have a very large scope of work. Without something to aggregate and sort data in an accessible manner, my job would be chaos. I wouldn't be able to be productive in any kind of efficient manner, and that in a sales environment means less money!

If I had to sort everything using spreadsheets, probably half of my day would end up being admin work. I'd never be able to actually perform the job that I've been hired to do.

Insightly lets us keep everything neatly compartmentalized, so that I can quickly grab any info I need on a project and relay that information over to a customer, or coordinate with others within the business.

  • Configurable and customizable to our specific business model.
  • Lends visibility to people who need it.
  • User interface could be polished a bit, looks a bit rough as of now.
  • Lead conversion is better because of better tracking of lead to opportunity.
Haven't really had any issues with it thusfar. Even things I'm not sure of how to use, figuring them out logically is pretty easy. Everything can be neatly compartmentalized for ease of use, so I would give it a 10. It's well integrated and seamless, so I almost don't even notice it.
Everything on my dashboard is neatly organized, giving me all the necessary and crucial information that I need on a daily basis. I can access information that I need to keep in mind quickly and easily, streamlining my workflow. Having this is essential to my work on a daily basis.
Salesforce was always confusing to use, and quite a mess. Companies that I worked at in the past had to invest a significant amount of time creating a Salesforce portal or skin to actually make it usable by the sales representatives. Even then, integration was always a bit dicey. I prefer insightly.

I find it hard to find too many issues with Insightly. Honestly it just works, I've never had any gripes with the interface other than visual appearance of the interface. That largely comes down to personal preference, so I can't really fault them for that. It's very straightforward, not overly complicated, and simple to use.
