Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
User management is handled via administrators—one key and others that are available for backup, if necessary. The administrator rolls out the test/training and tracks responses.
KB4 is being used to provide security awareness training for new hires (both employees and contractors), as well as to perform annual security awareness training (for employees and contractors). It is also being used to test the ability of new hires to recognize phishing attempts 2 months after hire, and at least on a quarterly basis to conduct phishing simulations.
Pros
- KB4 provides interesting training modules, which keeps the person taking the training more engaged and more likely to remember the salient points of the training.
- KB4 provides a good monthly newsletter, which we disseminate enterprise wide.
- KB4 has a great dashboard, which provides pre-defined statistics, along with the ability to customize the dashboard for additional insights.
- The email templates provided to conduct phishing simulations are very useful. They are easy to use and are up to date in nature.
Cons
- It would be nice to have more in-depth information on controlled unclassified information. This topic is only mentioned in a couple of Privacy modules.
- This is tough to judge. It would be helpful to understand how KB4 views ROI, since the amount of a security incident varies widely, and it only takes one successful attack for a breach.
KB4 beats the GLS product hands-down. We selected KB4 because we were able to integrate it with an existing LMS.
