We use KnowBe4 to keep employees aware of phishing attempts and what to look out for. The training modules are also extremely helpful. Our biggest concern is employees inadvertently clicking on a link in an email that appears legitimate but is actually malicious. We have an older workforce that is not used to dealing with this kind of thing. By preventing them from clicking on malicious links, we save ourselves a ton of time and resources that we would have to use to clean up these situations.

We used Barracuda for backups and wanted to test their training platform. KnowBe4’s platform is much more intuitive and is much better catered to our users. The metrics that we are able to generate through KnkwBe4 are also much more defined, allowing us to give better reports to our organization about how the training is affecting our business.

It has helped keep things fresh and exciting so that it doesn’t feel so stagnant. With content from different publishers, we are always receiving new perspectives on issues that help reach a wider audience within our organization. Multiple content sources also allow us to not have to give the same training modules to employees over and over, which keeps motivation up for our employees taking the training modules.
We manually enter our users into the KnowBe4 training platform. I have looked into connecting our Active Directory account, but we run an older Exchange sever, and I was never able to get it to work. This is on our end, and we will be upgrading our server soon, so hopefully, this will resolve this issue. It would be much better for us if the users we automatically added as were added to the Active Directory.
The metric that shows how are “clicks” have decreased over the years by using KnowBe4. This shows our CEO and Board how much of a positive impact these phishing tests have made. We also have enjoyed having the risk analysis score, as it gives us something tangible to grade ourselves on and something to work towards improving.
