Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

We started using Litmus with our email marketing company. We needed a better way for them to present emails to us and to be able to provide feedback to make changes easily. Now with Litmus, they create our emails and upload them. Then I provide feedback for them to make changes and reupload for approval. Litmus allows us to be on the same page more often than we were before. I am very pleased with how it has increased our efficiency.

Pros

  • Allows for feedback to be seen directly on the platform.
  • The approval button allows all parties to know when a final form is complete.
  • Tagging all parties in the feedback allows everyone to be involved.

Cons

  • When I open up an email for review if the title is too long I have no way of knowing what it is.
  • I wish I could see all of the prior versions our partners have made, but I only see the latest one.
  • I wish our multiple projects could be linked together better.
  • We aren't the primary user for Litmus, our email marketing company is, so this is hard to answer.
Personally, I have not been able to conduct email testing and analysis using Litmus without needing to switch out of the marketing software. However, I imagine the email marketing company we use for this would have more feedback to share. I'm sure it is great.
Using Litmus has certainly helped reduce confusion on feedback for email marketing reviews and approvals. It has reduced our review cycle time as well.

For our email approvals, Litmus is well suited for our email marketing company to be able to load in the proofs. It is also well suited for feedback to be left, except for being able to add subject lines and preheaders since it won't allow for emojis. Permitting the use of emojis in the feedback text boxes would allow me the flexibility to provide them within subject lines for our emails.
