Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Central by GoTo

I have several companies that I have installed LogMeIn Central by GoTo that we use to remotely manage all company computers in one interface. We can look at cpu usage, installed software etc when troubleshooting end users. It is a all in one platform to manage small to large enterprise organizations.

  • screen resolution sometimes is an issue especially with smaller notebook screen size
  • Audio is sometimes and issue where the audio is not in sync.
  • Saved travel times to fix remote computers
  • The screen recording has helped our IT staff prove that the technican was not responsible for issues the end user accused our support staff of doing
  • Overall cost saving out weighs the cost per computer especially at remote sites across the country or world
  • We have been able to run reports showing management how effective our IT services have been and the time saving involved in correcting computer hardware and software issues.
It is really simple to use once it is setup. It almost like you are on the computer physically and not remotely. All the necessary tools a typical support person needs is right there. We have used competitor software like screenconnect and AnyDesk and by far LogMeIn Central by GoTo is better.
It would be a perfect 10 if the Internet is alway 100% available and if the end users computer always had internet access if when malware or randsomeware was installed. We have had times where we had to phyiscally go to the clients office to work on a computer that had physically issues and or software/malware issues that did not allow us to access it remotely.
The closets of the above mentioned would be screenconnect and we do have some clients that use it. screenconnect is a little cheaper for the client to use compared the LogMeIn Central by GoTo but the overall ease of use is better the LogMeIn Central by GoTo. AnyDesk, RemotePC and Teamview is really not an enterprise solution and really can't compare all the bells and whistles that LogMeIn Central by GoTo has to offer.

This platform is great on troubleshooting and doing tech support for remote users. The full tool set allows me to pull and send files to the remote computer/server. I can use shortcut keystrokes to speed out routing short keys on Windows computers. It is really hard to think of a circumstance where LogMeIn Central by GoTo is less appropriate. I can only think of an issue if the remote computer has malware and or issue with internet connectivity and trying to log in becomes ineffective.
