Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Mailchimp is being used by a number of our clients as their email service provider. We use it to set up email journeys, stay in contact with our subscribers, and engage with our customers via templates or custom-coded email designs. We typically manage the email strategy, content, design, list management, and sending of emails via Mailchimp for our clients.
- Easy to use, beautifully designed email templates.
- Email journeys and drip campaigns are very easy to set up.
- A very robust and easy to understand reporting platform.
- Their native forms could be easier to use for people with no coding experience.
- Customer service is not available 24/7.
- Their segmentation options are very basic.
- Growth in subscriber numbers.
- Higher open and click rates.
- Decrease in unsubscribes.
Mailchimp is simply easier to use and much more user-friendly. I have found TraveClick and Marketing Cloud specifically to be a negative user experience, and feel that you need a lot of coding experience in order to use them. Revinate was easier to use, but even more basic than Mailchimp. If you’re looking for something more in the middle of the pack, Mailchimp is the perfect choice.
When everything is in one place, reporting wins and losses to our clients is so much easier. When you can see the full picture in one platform, optimization is much easier, allowing you to seamlessly pivot or double down on your marketing efforts for the best results.
We’ve seen an increase in subscriber numbers, open and click rate. Unsubscribe rates have gone down. Users are engaging with our sends. I’ve learned not to purchase a complicated, advanced system when something more basic will do.
