Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 Business
We switched over from an older version of Microsoft office we were using to Microsoft 365 a little while ago and I can easily say this is the best iteration of Microsoft office. All the core software we have relied on for years are still there but now we get the added multi-platform functionality and cloud storage. Cloud storage lets us store and share documents easily. It also makes collaborating on items much easier than before. Instead of sending documents back and forth, we can now work together much more efficiently. The other great thing is we don't have to worry about upgrading anymore since this one automatically gives us the newest version with the newest features without going through the process of upgrading. And lastly, the pricing is also great. It is very affordable if you are an SMB (Small to medium-sized business).
- Cloud storage is a great add on. We don't have to worry about losing documents. You get plenty of space to save your files as well.
- It's great for collaborating on documents. We can share files and work together on this very easily.
- It works really well across platforms. Even if you don't have access to your primary PC you can still access this and your files from basically any internet connected device.
- All the tools work really well with each other. It's really simple to import and export files from one application to another (for example moving a spreadsheet to an email etc).
- I wish it came with a good PDF editor. It is the only thing missing from this suite.
- It is a critical part of our work routine. And its stability and reliability has ensured we don't end up with unwanted downtime.
- Spreadsheets are a core part of our business. Microsoft 365 provides one of the best solutions to handle that.
I have used both OpenOffice, Google Drive and Docs. I prefer Microsoft 365 for multiple reasons. The first one is compatibility. That is a major issue if you use OpenOffice. Opening files that others send you and sending files to others has given me problems when I use OpenOffice. Google's solution is a little bit better but it still occasionally has issues (the major benefit is that Google's solution is free). Microsoft 365 is simply more reliable and works better.
