Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is being used across our organization for 1:1 messaging, group internal chat, and for sharing important files. Microsoft Teams helps us eliminate unnecessary emails to internal colleagues. The functionality of the product is simple and effective. We also use Microsoft Teams to host web meetings from time to time.
  • Internal communication.
  • Document sharing.
  • Online meeting hosting.
  • Microsoft Teams syncs with other tools we use to run our business.
  • The web conferencing tool isn't as robust or user friendly as Zoom.
  • The search functionality of the product could be better.
  • Internal messaging/chats.
  • Document sharing.
  • Online meetings with video features.
  • Searching for previous chats and documents.
  • Workplace collaboration.
  • More efficient internal communication.
  • Reducing unnecessary emails that leads to better productivity.
  • Sharing documents leads to more efficiency.
  • Using the web conferencing product to reduce cost to other web conferencing products.
  • Slack
Microsoft Teams is bundled into our existing Office 365 product suite, so there is no additional cost to leverage Microsoft Teams. This helps our organization avoid increased expense in subscribing to Slack or an alternative internal chat tool. Many members of our team (myself included) have used Slack before. We prefer the functionality, user interface, and product features of Microsoft Teams over Slack. So from a cost and overall value standpoint, we feel Microsoft Teams is superior to the competition.

Do you think Microsoft Teams delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft Teams's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft Teams live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Microsoft Teams go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Microsoft Teams again?

Yes

If your organization is not using an internal communication tool, then Microsoft Teams is a great solution, especially if you already have an Office 365 product package/subscription. Microsoft Teams can help you reduce emails across your internal team and it makes document sharing very easy. You can also search for chats you've had previously and documents you've shared previously. All chats and documents live in the cloud and are not deleted. Microsoft Teams can also function as a web conferencing tool to help you host internal and external online meetings. We think Microsoft Teams is a more affordable and easy-to-use internal chat tool than Slack.

Using Microsoft Teams

12 - All of our employees use Microsoft Teams across sales, marketing, operations, finance, client services, and data analysis. We believe Microsoft Teams boosts teamwork for our business. Microsoft Teams is the one app that helps our business meet, chat, and collaborate from anywhere. Microsoft Teams is included for free with our Office 365 subscription.
1 - There is very little support needed to install and get up and running with Microsoft Teams. We have 1 internal employee who set up our Teams channels that leads to more effective collaboration and communication. We have seldom needed support from Microsoft with the product. Microsoft Teams is very easy to use.
  • Online meetings
  • Internal chat
  • Document sharing
  • Collaborate and work together from anywhere
  • To share success stories across our team to improve our culture
  • To share personal fun/funny stories across our team

Microsoft Teams is included with our Office 365 subscription and we have no intention of migrating off of Office 365 and Microsoft products. Since Microsoft Teams is included for free with our Office 365 subscription, and since we enjoy all the features, benefits, and functionality, there is no question that our team will continue to use the product.
