Overall Satisfaction with MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP)
It is used by accounting to handle AP, AR, Payroll, etc. It is restricted only to our department and not used across the whole organization. It is tremendous at handling our fund accounting setup. The customer service is top notch and I've never had a problem that could not be solved by a quick online chat. The reporting and features fill our accounting needs perfectly.
- We utilize grants and the fund setup helps manage the accounting for those grants very easy.
- The reporting is very good and I've not had issues being able to extract the exact data I needed for any analysis.
- Again the customer service is excellent, easy to use and quick to respond. I can almost always get any question I needed answered within minutes.
- I [wish] being able to export to excel was a bit easier. I now have to save it and then open it as opposed to the spreadsheet just populating.
- I'd like for un-posting to be a little more automated as opposed. Basically like an "un-do" button.
- I don't like forced password changes but I understand the requirement.
- It has fit our needs exactly.
- It is all I've ever used at this organization. We briefly tried another setup in order to integrate with other systems and we quickly abandoned it to move back to MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP).
- It has been a big time saver at payroll time and tax time.

Yes
Are you happy with MIP Fund Accounting's feature set?
Yes
Did MIP Fund Accounting live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of MIP Fund Accounting go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy MIP Fund Accounting again?
Yes
Obviously MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP) is far more robust than Quickbooks. Many places make the mistake of trying to fit their org into quickbooks rather than getting something like MIP Funding Accounting (formerly Abila MIP) that is a better fit for their needs. Abila saves us time and money in the long run despite the higher upfront and monthly costs.
