Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Used for client workshops we run in the department. Used for collaborative presentations.
  • Combines different data sources for brainstorming.
  • Ease of output capturing.
  • Great templates available to streamline thinking and discussion.
  • Navigation is a little bit flimsy at times, especially when zooming in and out of content.
  • Limited text, table and picture editing capabilities.
  • Not seamless when copying PPTX content.
  • Cutting-edge in workshop delivery.
  • Effective collaboration.
  • Improved productivity around meeting capture.
It was very easy to start using Miro. With the tutorials and additional support available, I was able to pick up the basics within an hour and create a board that was appropriate for use with my clients. There was very minimal time investment needed but it relies on the user having wider skills in presentation and collaboration.
The way I am interacting with the tool at the moment means that it sits alongside the usual MS tools I already use and it is not necessarily explicitly integrated. It would be fantastic to see it integrated with PowerPoint or MS Teams to make the experience seamless for the user.
It has been very helpful in collaborating with colleagues and clients in various locations, both in the room and online. It is easy to access and the users can input on the board themselves or a leader can manage the board whilst others are speaking or contributing in a chat format.

Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft To Do (formerly Wunderlist)
Great for collaborative discussions, using a framework to visually capture and navigate a conversation, especially in a larger group. It has the potential to be used in workshops, especially well suited for hybrid collaboration. However, it's not as great where you simply want to re-structure existing PPTX slides and supplement them with wider collaboration - I found it hard to merge existing content without re-doing it from scratch.
