Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro has been a functional and adaptable platform, that has granted us the ability to produce academic content for classes. As also, it has been a platform we have suggested to our students to enable more creative and on-point teamwork, that goes along with the class dynamics. Miro's templates have also allowed us not only to produce examples of real-life diagrams, and schematics used in the industry but also have the students produce their own diagrams comprehending and earning new abilities that can and will hopefully be used in their own companies and real-life realities.
  • Allows any person at least with the free features to use or create diagrams, idea dumps, and many more diagrams with a friendly interface.
  • Create new teams that allow a group of people accesses and simultaneously work on group projects.
  • Design and create new templates, or any form of diagram following the customers or personal needs.
  • There should be more flexibility towards some already developed diagrams, such as flow charts. Its order and patterns.
  • The symbols and figures available for the platform should be revised with the different normativity of the diagrams offered since there are some missing symbols that could enhance the diagrams made.
  • The clash between free and premium users in group templates or teams as they work.
  • improved productivity as in team work and simulteanous work.
  • Quicker return with observations on past made diagrams
  • Better organization of team notes and conclusions.
The interface could use more interface-friendly guides in the template section, indicating the different diagrams and templates available.
The way people can simultaneously work on group projects allows them to communicate their ideas more freely, graphically. Without costing more resources, as also being in the way of other team responsibilities.
It has helped our students to create more bonds and communications. The simultaneous work feature allows them to define different work hours, without sacrificing the ability to cooperate as a group. The online platform allows not only the creation of new communications but also a new teaching method and dynamics for the themes and development of the course.

It is best suited for the construction of diagrams related to brainstorming, flow charts, or any type of simple diagrams used to express team meeting conclusions as ideas. It is less appropriate for the design and creation of diagrams presented to higher-ups (this depends on the type of diagram) since, even though there is the possibility of creating the diagram, the process may result long and tedious.
