Overall Satisfaction with Miro

The newly introduced working from home also introduced the problem that creative sessions and trainings could not be held in a classroom anymore. We tried to replace that physical classroom with Miro, allowing people to join from other locations or from home office.
That worked out surprisingly well. One of the main applications is writing stuff on (virtual) cards at the same time.
  • Multi mouse cursors!
  • Time management.
  • Generating a good overview.
  • A voice/video chat would be great.
  • Screen sharing.
  • We mostly use it for creative processes where we can include more people then before, but that's hard to measure.
For me it worked completely fine.
There were some issues with the single sign on, but as I am not the administrator, I don't know the details.
The problem however did not take long to be fixed.
It's a big step in the right direction regarding new work and working from home. It gives us much more flexibility to integrate people from all over the world in create processes than a physical classroom. I think we have yet to roll it out for more areas of work to get the full benefit.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It's great for creative processes with a lot of people, if having a moderator. I would say it is probably less suited for use cases where either a structured documentation or meeting protocol is required or for "wiki-like" use cases where there is no moderator. However, in general I see it as very good replacement of physical classrooms for learning or brainstorming.
