Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Miro in a small team (6 people) . We use AGILE methodology and with the help of Miro we can share our thoughts, we can make votings, and we can edit the board together. We often have different pieces of training and during the training, we use Miro to share the new info and to share our thoughts. We often have retrospective sessions where we can add new ideas with the help of sticky notes. Miro can make the online meetings, training more personal, because we have a common place where we can share our ideas. And it is very easy to use.

Pros

Helps to gather the people to a common virtual place.

Offers different kind of tools to edit the board.

Cons

Sometimes I have a problem with the log-in.
When I want to move the position on the board, I often move the tables as well. I don't know how should this be handled.
Sometimes we have a small navigation problem within the team, because the board is very big, sometimes we can't find the right place on the board.

Implementation Rating

I don't have any key insights regarding the implementation of Miro. I like the easy usage.

Ease of Integration

It is not easy to everybody to log-in. We had/have a problem within the team. If you would like to edit the board, you need to log-in. But at first time nobody knew what should be the user name / password. Should we create an account or how can we edit the board? But finally we found out that we can write in any password.

Collaboration

It helps to us in the brainstorming. It is much more easier to imagine the goals for example if we use the white board and list the action points there, than just listening a meeting online. It is easy to present our thoughts with the project team and with the stakeholders.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft BI (MSBI) and Microsoft Visio

It selected by the managers, not by me. It is easy to use, and it has more useful tools.

Other Software Used

Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, now part of Microsoft Teams, SAP HANA Cloud

Likelihood to Recommend

Miro works well in most of the cases. One example: we had a team goal setting session, where we defined the goals what we want to achieve. We defined the team goals and the personal goals as well. With Miro it was easy to list up everything, than we could vote and finally we could share the outputs with our managers easily.
