I use Miro boards to run software retrospectives. We have also used them for training and design sessions. there are so many features that other online boards don't have, and the simplicity of the application makes everything a breeze.

Being a blank page makes miro ideal for almost anything at all. it can easily be used for any number of purposes. Some default layouts could be useful for quickly spinning up boards/settings/designs.
