Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for a wide variety of applications. They include items such as product planning, customer journeys, marketing tactics and activities, market research, house of quality activities, agile development, project kickoffs, product roadmaps, RACI matrices, mind maps, personal goals, and many more. We utilize the tools to collaborate with others both inside the company and, on occasion, outside the company (with suppliers, customers, or consultants). Additionally, we utilize document security to ensure that we control access to the content. No matter what we are trying to accomplish, we utilize the templates either directly available from Miro or from the Miro community. The tools allow us to create living documents that evolve with our activities and key learning.

On some levels, yes. I am remotely working in Minnesota, while our corporate headquarters are in Attleboro, MA. I collaborate with team members and we are successful in connecting our ideas and actions. In the past, I have been a part of Agile planning events (using SAFe) and have used Miro for Agile PI planning and so forth. There we had people from all over the world join and collaborate on the work. There were breakout teams and special sections of the board where our work was completed. We voted on the work and success in summarizing the level of work to be completed.

I am still having trouble figuring out how to replace MS PowerPoint with Miro. I like the ability to interaction with my customers instead of a one-way presentation. Miro gives us the ability to lead a presentation and get that interaction, but it still feels clumsy, plus we need to ensure that any new user understands how to interact with Miro and that can take some time. In this regard, Miro would be best suited for a workshop where all participants know how to use Miro, how to navigate, and how to enter content. The visualization of ideas and actions is great. The ability to have people collaborate is awesome and the timers keep people engaged for the right amount of time.
