Use Cases and Deployment Scope

monday.com has been a great and easy to integrate platform for our team to use. We needed something that would be suitable across our organization, and have very little barrier to entry. With monday.com, our teams have more transparency across departments and were able to get up to speed quickly with monday.com's tutorials and knowledge base. If you have visual learners, this is the platform for you!

Pros and Cons

Great customer support, knowledge base, and tutorials.
Easy to integrate across teams for multiple uses.
Well designed UX/UI with intuitive navigation.

Gantt functionality exists, but is not as detailed as other systems.
Needs quicker and more intuitive dependency tracking.
Inability to copy certain things like drop down or status options over to another board.

Usability

The templates are a great resource, however I have never actually been able to use them as is or even use them as a jumping point. Many of them are a bit more complex than they need to be, so you end up building from scratch instead.

Support Rating

Customer support has been great. Even in times they have been unable to help with the problem or bug, they have been quick to respond. I think that they also have a great knowledge base that can help to solve most problems, along with their large repository of video tutorials.

Reliability & Availability

There have been more issues with the Mac desktop app than the site itself, but overall I have not seen any large outages in using this software. When I've come across bugs, I've reported them, but it has not been too often I find these. monday.com has been very reliable thus far.

monday.com is well suited for small teams, but might be a bit harder to implement for large ones.

I'd recommend monday.com not be used as a direct replacement for Excel (i.e. very data-heavy sheets) -- it is definitely great for things that are task based and need clear ownership and timelines.
