Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Faster production decisions.
  • Faster in-department deployment of jobs.
  • Super easy access to item codes and files when searching a specific job.
  • Real-time update for inventory (Computer to Plate Department).
All the production department is working on some level with monday.com, it helps us organize, fact check, archive work orders. One of the direct problems it addresses is the lack of communication between people because of the different departments. And because we use a main print production software we can support it with monday.com more deeply so that people can focus more on the job in their hand than the whole process that normally is used in print shops.
  • Preview documents (PDFs, JPGs, PNGs, Links, etc.).
  • Color-based status for different needs.
  • Custom notifications, personal, department, by status.
  • Cells with formulas, to get results while working inside monday.com.
  • Some UI elements take a lot of space in FullHD monitors, because some boards usually are more horizontal.
  • Smartphone app is not as fast as it could it be and some options are not implemented.
  • Option to clean all notifications at once.
monday.com is easy to use, yes, but you need to have some knowledge in programming or production, or at least know every step of the job where you're trying to implement monday.com, once you have that is "easy."
If no knowledge is found the process to implement monday.com is going to be tedious and frustrating and most people will blame the software for the failure.
We sent some inquiries about the payments/basic use at the beginning of our use of monday.com, and no one answered them. Later we checked on some problems with payments and they answered quickly, so there's that.
In our experience with monday.com it crashed 2 times, 3-4 hours both of them, and as a business we know is not their fault, monday.com depends on other services, but we as a client can't stop working because of a software failure. In the long run it is nothing, but we hope they can improve it.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with monday.com's feature set?

Yes

Did monday.com live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of monday.com go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

monday.com can adapt to all kind of scenarios, because of the automatizations, integrations, boards, views, groups and different columns it can be easily integrated. We tried to use it in some administration departments but more than the software is the people that can't make a good use of it.
In all departments using monday.com the people always improve the board with automatizations or different columns, once they see the potential of monday.com.
