Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP

We use NetSuite ERP as our general ledger system. We also use this system for billing, procurement and Fixed Asset management. We have been using NetSuite ERP for the last 7 years, it helps us with payment approval and accelerate with financial close and speed up the payment process. So far we have been very happy with it.

  • New upgrades sometimes overwrite saved changes.
  • I've found it does not have direct integration with the CRM system we are using.
  • GL files have to be imported manually.
  • I've found CSV import sometimes are not user friendly enough.
I was not in the decision making process. This question does not apply to me. The decision was made before my tenure with this firm. I heard this system was more powerful and capable of doing more things than the old system they were using. It was last evaluated about 7 years ago.

NetSuite ERP is able to meet all our needs. Although the implementation process was taking longer than originally anticipated. People were able to adapt to the new system fairly quickly. As an admin, occasionally I asked help from customer support. And they were able to solve my issue in a timely manner.

And they were able to solve my issue in a timely manner. That support was knowledgeable and quick on feet, he helped me despite the different time zone.
Sometimes when a new update comes out, it would reset some of our configurations that have been set before. I believe it creates inconveniences for our existing users. And we need to read script to understand what was changed, what fields should be changed. It may be a problem for small organizations without NetSuite ERP developers in house like us.
