Outreach: Great for Personalized, Customizable Engagement at Scale with Insights!
Overall Satisfaction with Outreach
Used to just be an SDR tool, was distributed across the entire sales org recently. Is a great tool for keeping emails and followups on track, personalizing outreach at scale. It's my main source of meetings and is a part of my every-morning routine. I like being able to keep track of how engaged my prospects are as well.
Pros
- Automated outreach -- takes care of the entire job of outreach for you as a sales rep. No more Yesware or Boomerang.
- Awesome scheduling and gmail integration -- I work out of gmail primarily and it's nice to be able to access scheduling and prospect engagement through that.
- Keeps track of engagement so I can prioritize which prospects to add to further touches or call.
Cons
- Some issues with the outreach everywhere extension -- accessing the sidebar panel makes my browser window behave weirdly.
- The workflow for being able to access account information and sequence info from the prospect level could use some work-- some of it doesn't make any sense.
- Salesforce integration is a little clunky -- doesn't sync information over consistently.
Reporting is focused around email outreach and engagement. It's pretty granular, which is nice when you want to make sure you're using the most effective copy in your emails. You can also access this within a team level as well to see how your team is performing overall, and being able to access your team members' best sequences is great when you're looking to up-level your own emails sequences.
- AMAZING time saver. I can add people to sequences from Gmail itself, and this saves me HOURS in terms of email followup.
- Increased meetings
- Re-engaged pipeline
I've said this before, but the Outreach customer service team is top-notch. They're super responsive and really concerned about making sure your problem has been solved. Even if you find a workaround for your issue, or it's just some small thing that bothers you, they want to know as much as possible about the problem so that they can note it for future updates.
I think Outreach is probably the most comprehensive tool I've used of its kind.
