Overall Satisfaction with PagerDuty

PagerDuty is the leading digital operations management platform for businesses, PagerDuty is an end-to-end incident management and response platform that provides developers, IT operations, and business stakeholders the insights they need to resolve and prevent business-impacting incidents quickly . We use Pager Duty as ticketing tool for my company , we have other products in the infrastructure and any alerts will go to Pager Duty creating tickets which then can be looked upon for resolution.

The production environment is critical for any company , if ticketing tool is down nobody will know what happened to their production data however having highly reliable with no maintenance downtime ensures that our productions issues are not lost and any issues or incidents happening in the production environments are reported and necessary action has been taken on all the Incidents.
I definitely use the Azure API integration to integrate the alerts generated in Azure Monitor to be sent to PagerDuty queue. Apart from this i also use the SMTP email alert integration , so we have tools which generates the alerts based on SMTP and the only way to create incident from SMTP is to use email alert integration of PagerDuty
we are not using the fully automation response from PagerDuty however we are using it for playbooks i.e.. for most of the alerts which we know will be come incidents we have playbooks created for them on how to resolve those alerts , now what we have done is we have used Alert Rules in PagerDuty and updated all tickets with appropriate playbooks , so now whenever an incident comes in it comes with playbooks and then the operations team can use that playbook to resolve the alert.
As of today I have not used the PagerDuty Analytics , we have separate team in the organization which works on Analytics part of PagerDuty.

PagerDuty is easy to integrate with API and cloud platforms also the solution is based on licenses per user which is kind of useful

PagerDuty is an incident management and response platform that provides developers, IT operations the insights they need to resolve and prevent business-impacting incidents quickly. It is well suited for any organization which works on ticketing / supports other teams/applications. The same PagerDuty can be used by multiple teams for collaboration and to resolve the issues in the enviornment.
