Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
Our entire organization utilizes Paycom for time & attendance and payroll. It allows us to submit time-off requests via their system, making it easier for our administrators to gather information across all of our departments. It also has eliminated the need to submit time-off requests via paper. Also, when an employee forgets to punch in or out, we have the ability to have our time corrected via the Paycom app, which makes this problem much easier to solve; you just use the app and Paycom does the rest!
- The mobile app is very user friendly and anyone can use it! We have several Spanish speaking employees who are also able to easily use the app because you can set your preferred language to Spanish!
- I love being able to submit time off via the app. It eliminates the back and forth between managers and employees. With Paycom, you can even see when other employees have requested off work, which is important for our business because we need to have coverage at all times.
- Because I have direct deposit, Paycom houses my routing and accounting bank information. Whenever I need this information to set up an auto bill pay, I always pull out the Paycom app because it's so easily accessible!
- I wish that managers could approve punch change requests via email. It's possible for time off requests, but not punch change requests.
- It can sometimes be difficult to get logged in on the employee side, however, the two-factor authentication has helped!
- I wish that Paycom could verify direct deposit information when an employee enters it into the system.
I have used ADP before and it was a nightmare. Paycom is much more user friendly and easier to approve employee's time off requests. Also, the aspect of employee self service at the palm of your hands has been a really great improvement from ADP.
I can always call in and talk to the same person! I can't remember their name, but even if I can't get ahold of my specialist, I can speak to someone on their team which is nice!
Before Paycom, employees would have to remind us or other managers when they were going to be on vacation or if they were going to be sick, and this lead to us being understaffed on multiple occasions. After we started using Paycom for PTO and sick requests, this issue went away and now it's super easy for managers to approve time off without having to manage a paper schedule or Excel spreadsheet.
