Overall Satisfaction with Paycor
We use Paycor across our organization; currently, we are using Paycor for HRIS (and employee self-service), payroll, time & attendance (PTO Tracking), onboarding, and performance management. It allows our HR Dept of one to keep data organized, processes efficient and maintain compliance. Paycor allows employees to have access to their information and change things as needed (i.e. direct deposit, tax forms, etc.) without filling out a paper based form.
- Paycor has allowed us to cut our payroll processing time by about 75%. Payroll processing is smooth and easy.
- We've been able to transition to a (mostly) electronic onboarding process through the implementation of Paycor. By allowing new hires to complete a fair amount of new hire paperwork ahead of time, we save trees and time! It's received really good reviews from our newest team members!
- Employee Self-Service- less time processing manual changes and employees have real-time access to their information.
- Reporting is pretty straightforward and easy to use. There are a lot of canned reports that are available and useful; however, creating a custom report is user-friendly.
- Would love if our employees could change or cancel their own PTO once approved. Currently, a manager has to cancel it and then the employee has to put in a new request even if they just want one day less of PTO. Similarly, when PTO is for a week with a holiday in it, you have to put two separate requests in (ex. 4th of July- if you want the whole week off, you have to put in a request for Mon-Tues and then again for Thurs-Friday vs. the whole week and zeroing out (or the system doing it) the Company holiday).
- Payroll- if someone starts in the middle of the week or leaves in the middle of the week, I would like their pay to adjust automatically based upon those start and end times vs. manually having to adjust.
- Implementation was not the most smooth but I have been through more than one payroll implementation cycle and can say the same for each of them.
- Increased efficiency with a reduction in manual (paper-driven) processes
- Improved employee experience/interaction as employees utilize the self-service portal frequently and after almost 2 years familiar with the system and its functionality
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much.
Paycor is a lot more user-friendly and customizable for business and HR needs than the other systems that I have used previously.
