Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use Paylocity as my HRIS system as well as for payroll, timecards, recruiting, ACA tracking, training and onboarding. Paylocity solved a number of problems for my department especially during COVID when most things had to be provided online. Most specifically the onboarding and training modules were extremely helpful in allowing me to provide a thorough program for new staff during a time when I was not supposed to spend one-on-one time with them.
  • Reacts to new laws and legislation that requires more reporting, etc from the HR dept
  • Listens to customers feedback and provides system updates inline with that feedback
  • Provides 1 comprehensive system that talks with each module in a way that is mostly seamless
  • The service team is wonderful and helpful but seem very swamped. It is difficult to get a hold of the assigned account manager but I can always reach another team member.
  • The development team needs to remember that the least amount of clicking around in a system to get what you need is always best. There is a lot of room for improvement in this area for the Recruiting module.
  • Reduced errors
  • Better ACA and HR compliance
The onboarding and learning module has affected my business the most in the past few years. Onboarding used to be a weekly 1/2 day process for an hr department of 1 person (me!). With most of the onboarding process now online and automated, I am able to free up a significant amount of time to spend on other important things.
We do not utilize this aspect of Paylocity.
Paylocity was already established here prior to my joining the team. I enjoy Paylocity because of all the features that allow me to go to one system to satisfy many needs.
