Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We mainly use Paylocity for payroll. However, my goal in the upcoming year is to utilize more of its features such as the Benefit side of it. We're also going to expand our use of the system by teaching and allowing employees to access mote of the Self Service side. For example, roll out the ability to submit time off requests via the app or PC, make changes to their profiles (i.e., direct deposit, change of address, phone number, etc.).
- The reporting feature is wonderful! Produces quick and efficient reports that display information in a ready to use/read manner.
- Time & Labor allows us to really see how our employees are managing their schedules.
- I really enjoy Data Insights. It has helped us tremendously navigating our headcount/staff count during the pandemic.
- Test run "resolved issues" before advising us that they have been corrected. For example, if we submit an issue and Paylocity fixes it, a test run should be done on their end to ensure the fixed issue doesn't prompt another one to arise.
- Provide one on one training for new users to help navigate the system without having to read several articles.
- Faster turnover when submitting Reporting issues. It's taken us over one month to receive corrections with a GL report we use.
- Utilizing Paylocity has definitely helped us saved time and money processing payroll using the system vs. using an in-house process.
- We have been able to better track our employee wages and make sure everyone is compensated fairly based on their tenure and experience.
- Easy to process bonus pay if and when the company decides to distribute.
With our company bouncing back from the pandemic, we're hoping to begin utilizing all the automated features Paylocity has to offer. Unfortunately, in the past (and presently), we continue to use paper forms for many things such as time off requests, direct deposit authorization, change of address, etc. just to name a few. I'd like to spearhead my company into full using all the features that Paylocity offers that will allow us to eliminate the use of paper forms.
At the moment, we do not use these features but do hope to role out in the near future.
In the past I've used several ADP products, most recently ADP Enterprise being one. First and foremost, calling their customer service line was torture! There were times when I would wait on hold for one hour or more just to ask for an address change when our company relocated. And even then, despite updating our address our payroll checks were still delivered to the wrong location. I like the easy to navigate portal that Paylocity has to offer. It makes easy for any user, regardless of their level of "tech", to use.
