Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity's platform makes processing payroll a simple task. The Self-Service Portal creates a streamlined approach for entering time off requests and expense reporting for both the employees and the supervisors. We also have a 360 degree feed with our 401(k) provider eliminating the need to enter changes into the payroll system, as well as enter the deductions and employer matching amounts each payroll cycle. I used Paylocity in my previous position, so the decision to transition from a competitor's platform was an easy decision.

  • Improved reporting for expenses - the reporting only gives the out of the box categories and the custom categories added by the employer show up as "other"

Paylocity's automation tools save us time since most of the processes are streamlined and efficient.
We do not use the employee engagement tools.
Employees did not have any visibility into their profiles and we also experienced issues giving them access to their paystubs. The reporting was very basic and we spent a lot of time putting together the detailed journal entry. We are saving on the cost, as well.
