Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase
Our agency uses Quickbase as a project manager for the executive team. We also use Quickbase in departments to manage specific services like grounds maintenance. We also use it as part of the city-wide performance plan system.
- Quickbase is good at storing all kinds of different information with complex relationships.
- Quickbase is easy to learn with a basic understanding of relational databases.
- Quickbase has easy data entry forms.
- Charting and visualization is too simple in Quickbase.
- Print out forms are not aesthetically pleasing enough. Even when using Exact Forms, child tables can't be displayed.
By developing internal expertise we have been able to do this.
Salesforce is more difficult to learn.
Analysts need an understanding of relational databases in order to properly build an application.
- Building and deploying business applications faster
- Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
- Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
Updating a Quickbase application takes digging into the relationships and the formula fields. It can be tricky.
