Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

We used QuickBase when searching for ways to become more organized as a department. When working with a team with different schedules, responsibilities, and functions, QuickBase allowed us to collect and share information with each other more easily. Allowing us to work more efficiently together toward achieving our departmental goals was a huge plus.

We haven't gotten into very complicated customization. We have found that even on a more general level that having our work in QuickBase has made us more efficient and organized. We continue to grow in our use of project management every year and try to develop ways to be better. QuickBase's ability to customize figures can help anyone in that situation.
We tried various project management solutions when we spent most of our time with QuickBase. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages. I would recommend trying out all the trials, one at a time, then making your selection. It will save you in the long run. Be sure to give each product a proper chance.
I would definitely consider myself a "citizen developer" because I am one of the least talented people on our team for building applications. It doesn't come natural to me. However, even with my limited expertise, I was able to create valuable applications to contribute to our team with the help of QuickBase's user-friendly nature.

We were able to have better collaboration from having QuickBase be our central operating point and communication method. We also solved the business challenge of keeping a team with various schedules and responsibilities on the same page throughout numerous projects. This made us more efficient than ever and allowed us greater flexibility in our work.
While I've generally left the updating of applications to others on our team, I've had many conversations with those who have done it themselves. Every indication points to them being very happy with the results and the ease of use of QuickBase as a whole. It has been a great tool for our team.
One of the key areas that we really saw the benefit was in project management. Prior to trying QuickBase, we relied mostly on Google Docs and email to be organized with our growing number of projects. As the number and complexity of our projects began to grow, it became obvious that this strategy was not going to work. QuickBase has so many customizable options, it's hard to think that one will not work for your company.
