Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is being used to manage our General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Employee Reimbursements, and Cash Management. Intacct is primarily used by the Finance and Accounting Department, but the reporting is used company-wide.
  • The integrations with Intacct are fantastic. Sage has clearly made an effort with these companies to make the integrations possible.
  • The reporting and visibility within Intacct are immensely helpful. They offer some of the best internal reporting that I have seen.
  • Sage has a surplus of abilities, ranging from the basics of journal entries to accounting for credit card charges and fees, integrated documentation, and even allowing collaboration and communication on individual transactions.
  • Sage Intacct has a lot of room to improve within their functionality for multiple companies, especially those that operate in foreign currencies. Many modules can't calculate transactions correctly, leaving the bank reconciliations with large errors. There are also several transactions that their software can't handle with multiple currencies, including internal transfers between two currencies. We also have issues with our companies that hold bank accounts in a different currency than the currency in which the company operates.
  • Intacct has allowed us more visibility into our expenses, revenue, cash flow, and assets. This has allowed better communication with companies and executives, along with better business strategies and planning.
The automation that Intacct offers save hundreds of man-hours per year. The ability to automate as much as possible in an ever-moving environment is essential and they do it well.
The integrations with Sage Intacct are phenomenal. We use a variety of integrations, including invoice processing, expense reimbursement approvals, bank feeds, payroll, timesheet tracking for hourly employees, and employee management, and they integrate seamlessly with Intacct.
Intacct offers immensely better integrations than many competitors, and their modules interact seamlessly with each other. The time savings and visibility that Intacct offers surpasses many other systems. The user interface and customer support are entirely unmatched by any competitor software.
Intacct feels like it was designed with small to medium businesses in mind, but particularly businesses within one country. Their modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, etc.) are some of the most user-friendly I have ever worked in. Currently, there is room to improve for multiple companies operating in multiple currencies, but there is a "workaround" everywhere there is an issue, it just takes a little longer. For a growing small company that has outgrown Quickbooks, Intacct is a fantastic option.
