Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors

Employee Central is our system of record for Human Resources. It is used by all employees for updating their profiles. Managers and their administrators used Employee Central to complete employee transactions such as promotions, transfers and terminations. We are also implementing Recruiting and Onboarding modules. Recruiting is used to attract talent to our organization and Onboarding is used to transition them from candidates to employees.

The data in Employee Central can be used in our Recruiting and Onboarding. We were also able to integrate with vendors that provide candidate assessments, background checks, and drug testing. Within Onboarding we were also able to integrate with vendors that specialize is verifying employment items as required by government agencies.
We are completing our implementation with the help of Ernest & Young. The modules have been user friendly and met our needs. We greatly appreciated that SAP conducted a review of our processes before we went live called a Success Review. They reviewed our work books and provided a report on our systems configuration compared to best practices.
The recruiting module is much more user friendly than our prior system that was Taleo. Taleo had to many actions that required the recruiters to go from one system to another. We tracked that there were 117 steps that the recruiter had to make from beginning of req to its completion.

SF is really good at human resource transactions and have made huge progress on making it user friendly. They should continue to focus on the user experience. The area that it is less appropriate is at artificial intelligence. Success Factors is trying to identify how to do it in a method that will not cause bias or discrimination.
