Overall Satisfaction with Seismic
Seismic is used in my sales role to search/pull important information, announcements, & collateral from corporate. Content is sorted via category into folders which makes finding pertinent information simple. This is very useful as there is no hassle having to ask colleagues to forward you content nonstop. It keeps everything organized in one place.
- Organize content and information into groups
- Stores large files for download to share with colleagues & customers
- Pushes out announcements company-wide
- Lot of data on home hub which can be difficult to navigate at times.
- Preview of certain documents do no show or load unless you download the file. I'd like to have the content available to view the file before downloading to my files.
- Show recently uploaded content more prominently for context on hub. This will allow users to stay updated.
- Less time spent bothering colleagues for common information or collateral to send to customers
- Takes a bit of time to learn and navigate the tool to proficiency
- Positive learning and education tool for the organization
Seismic is much more high level compared to the free tools as far as features. Competitors likely just house files whereas Seismic does this along with a lot more. In my opinion, also has a cleaner layout.
