Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

I have used Splashtop as a remote support tool, deploying it on all computers in dozens of different businesses, from 2 to 50 computers at a time. We would then use this to remotely access these computers for troubleshooting as well as unattended access for updates etc. All 4 employees used Splashtop to access client's computers and we were also easily able to grant clients the ability to access their own computers from home. I have also used the SOS component as head of a support team to assist customers with everything from installations to troubleshooting to training of our company's software offering. In both cases it was a very easy and quick process to set up and get connected.
  • Very fast to get connected
  • User management was excellent
  • The company code was better than a link to install, because it was easily memorizable.
  • Honestly can't think of any, it has always been really good
  • It was much cheaper than LogMeIn and teamviewer respectively that we switched away from at the time. At least half the cost in both cases.
From sales questions to technical issues, the team was always very responsive. More importantly, they actually knew what they were talking about, not just deciding which pre-written text to cut and paste into their reply to me that we both knew wouldn't solve the problem.
I have no concerns about the security of Splashtop. It's clear they're been taking security seriously for a long time. I read about their security advisory panel with some of the top names in the industry, and I know they have all of their security certificates. They use industry standARD encryption, 2FA and all the bells and whistles, I have full faith that it's a whole lot more secure than Windows.
I don't recall much of an onboarding process because it was very much an intuitive, seamless process. When we did have any questions, the docs were very good.
Yes - At the first location, it replaced LogMeIn. We started looking for a replacement after yet another price hike by LMI with no value added. Splashtop was approximately half the price and nicer to use.

At the second location, our former parent company was using a shared TeamViewer account, and we needed to replace it. I did compare all the options, but having had prior experience with Splashtop, it was at the top of my list.

Would you buy Splashtop again?

AnyDesk, HubSpot CRM, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), Chargify
Splashtop excelled at unattended access for the MSP I worked for, deployment was simple and effective. It also excelled as an ad-hoc tool for remote support using the SOS component. I honestly cannot think of anything bad to say about it, or recall any real issues with it over the 5 years I used it. Would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a good remote tool.
