Affordable remote access and support software that actually works!
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
Remote access to my computers and servers for support and system management when I'm offsite. I use it on my cellphone while commuting or on my tablet if I have it with me. I remote into the computer with single and dual monitors at work and at home and my experience is always fast and seamless. The only time I experience speed issues is if my cell signal is intermittent, but Splashtop will reconnect when my signal returns. We have 13 users that use Splashtop for remote work and it's the only product we'll use because of the security and reasonable cost of the product.
Pros
- It's fast
- Works great login into a system with single or dual monitors. Even from a cell phone!
- Easy to deploy to your team for remote working.
Cons
- Make it easier to re-add a computer if the computers been wiped and reloaded.
- It used to be easier to deploy to users, send a link, and click and connect. Now we have to more involved and change membership on the web portal.
- During Covid when working at home was required, it allowed us to keep productive.
- Saved the company $20,000 because users used their home computers to remote in vs us having to purchase hardware for them to use.
I've already mentioned that the software works well for us because of the security and robustness of the connection. We have enabled two-factor authentication, which surprisingly was well received.
Onboarding isn't as easy as it used to be, but the security is better and it only takes about 5 minutes to get up and running or to get someone else up and running.
Yes - TeamViewer. The primary reason we switched from TeamViewer to Splashtop we the cost of Teamviewer. Their costs have spiraled out of control so much to the point I'm surprised their still in business.
