Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

I primarily use TeamViewer for remote desktop access to servers and workstations hosting our research tools and data. TeamViewer's file-sharing feature makes transferring large datasets between local and remote machines fast and convenient. I use its screen sharing and meeting features for collaborative coding sessions and data visualizations for remote presentations. It's a versatile platform catering to our dynamic research needs and keeps us connected and productive, regardless of location.
  • It has excellent security measures like 2FA and E2E encryption to protect our data from unauthorized access.
  • It integrates very well with other regularly used business tools like Salesforce and Zendesk helps us a lot in the smooth operation of daily tasks.
  • For tech savvy users like me, features like multi-monitor support, VPN integration, drag and drop file transfer and custom branding help me with the highest level of control and customization.
  • The mobile app is good, but it's confusing at times. Gestures aren't always intuitive and finding specific features requires digging through menus. A smooth interface with more readily available actions would be a welcome change.
  • Connecting to a remote device sometimes becomes difficult, especially for non-technical users. Automating routine connection details like IDs and passwords and/or offering simpler connection methods (QR codes, NFC) could help.
  • Occasional connection drops and lags are frustrating, particularly during conducting critical tasks. Improving connection stability and providing better feedback on network issues would enhance user experience.
  • We have a geographically dispersed team and many of us work remotely. A 25% increase in project completion rates- thanks to collaboration across different time zones using TeamViewer.
  • Clients feel more involved and provide immediate feedback. We experienced better client satisfaction and reduced revisions. We saw 20% increase in client satisfaction and 10% decrease in revision requests after implementing TeamViewer.
  • Gone are the days of waiting for hours or even days for an IT technician to resolve a critical issue. Now we can get immediate assistance for almost any technical issue with TeamViewer. The impact on client experience due to faster response times and better collaboration took a bit longer to translate into quantifiable metrics like client retention and satisfaction. We saw a noticeable upward trend after around 6-8 months. However, we saw immediate relief from IT ticket-raising hassles and assistance as we started using TeamViewer for remote technical support.
TeamViewer has a more intuitive interface and an easier learning curve, especially for non-technical users. It also offers a wider range of features, like session recording and meeting tools which were important to me. It has better performance and responsiveness, especially on slower internet connections. Its file transfer speeds are also more faster.

I would give it 9 out of 10 because it integrated well with our existing workflows and systems. We've seen minimal disruption during implementation. Their technical support team assisted throughout so that we didn't face any implementation challenges.
Some of our clients operate in healthcare and handle sensitive data, using HIPAA-compliant TeamViewer helped us show our commitment to data privacy and security. We've enabled 2FA for all critical accounts, adding another barrier to unauthorized access. Integrating TeamViewer with our existing SSO system has strengthened the login process for our team and reduced the risk of password errors. Its SOC 2 certification provides independent validation of the security practices and builds trust and confidence with our clients, especially those with strict security requirements.
TeamViewer has a user-friendly interface with a simple setup ideal for quick assistance. It is device and platform independent and works pretty well with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS devices. Its built-in file transfer and chat features within sessions simplify collaboration and file sharing and reduce the need for additional tools for the same purpose.
