Overall Satisfaction with Text-Em-All

We utilized Text-Em-All in our church in several ways.
  • First, we use it to send out urgent, time-sensitive prayer requests via text to our prayer team. Most people will get a text before they'd get an email, so this helps us to get prayer needs out to our congregation quicker than by email alone.
  • Second, we use it to communicate announcements to our youth group via text. The survey tool comes in handy when we need info back from the parents and youth. We can send one message to everyone and get the necessary responses back.
  • Thirdly, we live in a cold winter climate and we will use the call and text features to communicate if we have weather postponements or cancellations.
  • And fourthly, we use the call feature to send out morning devotional calls from our pastor each weekday morning.
  • Ease of use
  • Fair pricing
  • Lots of features
  • Top notch customer service
  • I've long been wanting an "add to existing broadcasts" button when adding a new contact.
  • Notifications in the conversations are sometimes inconvenient to get rid of, requiring an extra entry into the conversation to clear.
  • The web interface is easy, easy, easy. I love that. It makes getting a text out quickly.
  • Although I exclusively record and upload my calls, I greatly appreciate the option and ability to record calls with my phone in the case I don't have a computer at my disposal.
  • Fair pricing is key for a church. We can have all the fancy things available to us, but if we can't afford them, it's no good to us. Text-Em-All is feature rich at a fair price.
  • For our daily devotional calls, over 25% of our contact list does not attend our church. Our congregation have told their family and friends about the calls and they have signed up on their own and now we have contacts from no fewer than six states represented in our list. Text-Em-All has allowed us to extend our ministry reach well beyond our city.
  • We're able to get urgent, time-sensitive prayer requests in the hands of our prayer team in a much more timely manner than previous methods we've used. It enables us to contact our entire team in a couple of minutes rather than half an hour or more from calling everyone.
When I've had issues with the system, whether it be user error or a system error, my dealings with Text-Em-All customer support have always been top notch! They're extremely helpful and I get the sense that they truly want me and my organization to succeed at what we're doing and they want to provide a tool to help us do that. I have zero complaints about any of my support interactions.
When our church has a weather cancelation, rather than taking an hour or more to call everyone individually, we can send a call and/or text to let everyone know all at once in just a few minutes. It's also greatly helpful that these calls or texts go directly to the individual and we're not relying on them checking the radio, our website, or our social media for weather cancelation announcements.

In the realm of church use, having a system in place to quickly contact people in the case of emergencies, weather cancellations, or time-sensitive announcements is a must! Gone are the days of manual phone trees! We can automate calls and texts and that saves so much time for administrative personnel as well as the congregation. With the limitations of characters in a text message, texts are not suitable for long-winded announcements or prayer requests, but I have found you can include a link to a web page where you can include the long version of the prayer request or announcement. For prayer requests, I have linked to the web version of the email I sent out that will include all of the information. That works well for me.
