Vidyard is a daily tool used within our Customer Success Department. Whether it's sending how-to videos for customers, welcome videos, or even conference videos--we love the platform.

Anytime a customer wants to learn how to navigate our software, we send a Vidyard. We use Vidyard to create welcome videos for customers going through the onboarding process. We also use Vidyard to create knowledge base articles/videos.

40 - Various departments use Vidyard. Marketing uses it to record webinars and for promotional videos. Our Customer Success Team uses it to screen record and share best practices, new features. Our School Support Team uses it for knowledge base articles and to communicate best practices on how to navigate the platform itself.

Operating across various departments, we have strategically appointed Administrators who play a pivotal role in streamlining the user experience. These skilled individuals are responsible for orchestrating the seamless creation of user accounts, managing permissions, and expertly assigning videos to specific folders.Our team members exhibit an impressive array of skills that include managerial acumen, commitment to precision, and he ability to take initiative. This combination of proficiencies ensures that our Vidyard support team operates with unparalleled efficiency and effectiveness, ultimately delivering exceptional experiences to our clients.

Vidyard has truly become an essential part of our organization. It's useful for our day to day communication internally amongst departments and externally with our customers. This platform has allowed us to create knowledge base articles, training portals, webinars and communicate effectively with our customers. We receive raving feedback from customers on how helpful the videos are that they receive. We also like the ability to view metrics, insights, etc. of the videos. Always allows us to pivot accordingly based on the feedback we receive.

Since this platform is used across many departments (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) in our organization, the ease of use was the most important factor. The ability to roll out a product across multiple departments is always a challenge, so we desire for the adoption to be easy and seamless. Vidyard has exceeded those expectations.
I wouldn't really change anything. The rollout was efficient and easy for our teams that use the software. I would love to see more of how other customers use the software for their business. It would give us more ideas on how to grow, expand and be creative in how we use it on a daily basis.

Vidyard Implementation

On the whole, the implementation process can be deemed successful, although there are areas within our organization where room for improvement exists. In retrospect, I see the potential for enhanced outcomes by implementing a more strategic approach. Moreover, gaining a clearer grasp of the software's limitations from the outset would have been immensely valuable. By recognizing these boundaries early on, we could have tailored our strategies to work more effectively within the software's parameters.
Change management was a small part of the implementation and was well-handled - In hindsight, a phased implementation approach would likely have yielded greater benefits. Our journey was marked by an on-the-fly learning curve, revealing that the implementation process could have been optimally structured across multiple sessions rather than a singular endeavor.By breaking down the implementation into distinct phases, we could have harnessed the opportunity to absorb and integrate lessons learned from each stage.

The training experience proved to be tremendously valuable. Our dedicated representative exhibited an exceptional level of helpfulness and patience as she skillfully addressed all of our inquiries. Notably, she went beyond merely answering questions, providing us with a wealth of resources and sharing best practices that are pivotal for our success in utilizing the software.Her guidance transcended the boundaries of a conventional training session, empowering us with insights that extend far beyond the immediate.
The online training experience proved to be incredibly valuable. Our dedicated representative demonstrated exceptional patience and unwavering support in addressing our queries and requests, which greatly contributed to our learning process. Their guidance was pivotal in helping us navigate the intricacies of the training, ensuring that we absorbed the material effectively.
I had the opportunity to undergo online training, although I must note that the product can indeed be navigated and learned without formal training. However, based on my experience, I wouldn't wholeheartedly recommend this approach to others. Instead, I'd advise opting for a certain level of training to ensure a more comprehensive understanding.While the product's intuitiveness allows for self-guided exploration, structured training can provide a deeper dive into its functionalities and features.

Configuring Vidyard

find the current state to be adequately balanced. While I do harbor a wish for supplementary features, the product's existing functionality is commendable in accomplishing its intended tasks. Its capacity to effectively fulfill its primary purpose is evident, although I envision the potential for added features that could elevate its capabilities even further. In essence, the product's performance is satisfactory, yet the prospect of enhancements remains tantalizing.
It would be quite advantageous if videos could be stored across multiple folders concurrently. At present, once a video is transferred to a particular folder, it becomes confined solely to that location. However, envisioning a scenario where videos could seamlessly exist in multiple folders simultaneously presents a compelling proposition. This enhanced functionality would afford us greater flexibility in organizing and accessing our content, aligning with the dynamic and interconnected nature of our operations.

Vidyard Support

I recently just contacted Vidyard Support for the first time a few days ago. I got a response back within 24 hours.. but I haven't heard back since on my request. Ideally it'll be great to get more frequent responses. Today, I had a chat session with their Support Team on another issue. It wasn't really resolved either.. So hoping for quicker and helpful service in the future.
